Dear Eljay,
My body is stupid. I don't know what its problem is, but it seems that at the end of every weekend, recently, no matter what I've been doing, I feel more run-down than at the beginning of it. When will this stop? Seriously! The headaches, the fatigue, and now the coughing -- which actually woke me up a couple of times last night -- are getting out of hand.
Things are feeling so wrong that I'm going to be in bed before 9, and I'm going to see the doctor tomorrow. So there.
That said, I had a nice, relaxing weekend (which is why I should FEEL MORE RESTED, DAMNIT!). Yesterday I tagged along while Becca got her brain scanned. And now that I've seen her in those oh-so-sexy blue clinic pyjamas, and gazed on her brain from all possible angles, I feel our friendship has deepened. XDDD Today, Jamie and I went out to Enoshima, visited the caves there and lay on the beach for a while. I was glad the sky was very, very overcast, as we could still feel the sun. We didn't bother going into the water, but we had a nice time. I even found out what those weird centipede-ish waterfront bugs are, Emily, in case you were still wondering! They're called wharf roaches, or sea roaches (ligia exotica). Funamushi in Japanese.

Date: 2011-06-28 02:46 pm (UTC)I've been waking up between 5 and 6, but that's because of the earlier sunrise. I do that every year.
