Here's something I started way back in the day when I ate, slept and breathed Yuu*Yuu*Hakusho. So if you're familiar with it, as well as with Gilbert & Sullivan, you might find that I can be clever, at times, though I realise that correct Japanese inflection must occasionally be sacrificed for the flow of the song. And so, I humbly present two selections from the
Cast: Captain -- Hiei
Josephine -- Yukina
Ralph -- Kuwabara
Buttercup -- Kurama
"Ruler of the Makai" -- Yuusuke
Mother -- Atsuko
Class-mate -- Keiko
Aunt -- Shizuru
Boatswain -- Botan
Deadeye -- Genkai
I’m Called Little Shuuichi
I'm called little Shuuichi, poor little Shuuichi,
Though I could never tell why,
Because I am Kurama, Makai no Kurama,
Thief Youko Kurama, I!
I've whips made from roses, I've Makai mimosa,
I've petals that are sharp as knives,
I've plants that drain youki, seeds of Shimaneki
And healing herbs that can save lives!
I've blooms in full splendor that won't lose their colour,
I've flowers that pack quite a punch,
To punish temptation, I've lush vegetation
That likes to eat youkai for lunch!
But still I'm called Shuuichi, poor little Shuuichi,
Good student, dutiful son,
Though I am Kurama; silver-haired Kurama,
And human boy all in one!
My Gallant Crew
Hiei -- I am the leader of Mukuro's armies
Youkai -- And a fearsome leader, too!
Hiei -- With a sword I'm very good,
Youkai -- With a sword he's very good,
Hiei -- I've slaughtered many men
Youkai -- What, not one?
Hiei -- No, not one.
Kurama (off-stage and sounding horribly affronted) -- What, not one?!?
Hiei -- Well… Hardly a-ny!
Youkai -- He hardly needs any friends…
Hiei -- In the Ningenkai, I teamed up with Kurama,
Youkai -- Found Yukina, met Urameshi.
Hiei -- When I'd mastered my third eye
Youkai -- When he'd mastered the Jagan
Hiei -- This warding on my arm
Youkai -- What, never?
Hiei -- No, never.
Kurama (off-stage) – What, never?!?
Hiei -- Well…hardly ever!
Youkai -- Hardly ever gets carried a—
Hiei -- JAOU ENSATSU KOKORYUUHA!!!
Yesterday, I watched Cruel Intentions, which Anna lent me about 3 years ago -_-; It was more entertaining than I thought it'd be, and Selma Blair was absolutely hilarious. I've alway liked her, but I didn't know she could be so convincingly goofy -- I loved it.
Also, for those of you who care (i.e. me), I am still back to fitting into all the clothes I had made for me in Vietnam! I only lost a pound or two during my trip (v.g.) which leads me to believe that maybe I've found my right size and can hopefully stay there, making dressing so much simpler.

Though I view you weaker beings with contempt, which you deserve,
