Moving right along

blodeueddWell. I guess sliced potatoes take up more space than whole ones, because I ended up with 4 leftover spuds, even though I filled up my containers as I peeled to make sure I had the right amount. So now I have lots of food cooking and I'm starting to wonder if I'm even going to go to the party... Be social, or work on my costume? I mean, I'm going karaokeing anyway later on, so it's not as though I'd be closeting myself away... Let's see how I feel in an hour.
The top half of my costume looks really cute already, but it's mostly been an exercise in re-threading my sewing machine. First I had to sew darts and I thought I'd do it in white (though the fabric's green) because the lace, the next step, is white. So I did that, but then I remembered that the blue lace I added to the pattern had to be sewn on first, so I had change to blue, then go back to white. After I'm done with that, I'll hopefully be able to stick to green for a while.
