Ashita ni...
Oct. 24th, 2004 03:36 pmThe other day, G brought some leftover mashed potatoes to work. In a ziploc. He didn't see the humour of if all.
I ended up staying in all day, yesterday. My food was ready but I was feeling much too lousy to go to a party and I even bowed out of a karaoke outing! *gasp* I felt bad, especially since it had been my suggestion to begin with. But today I went to the gym (exercise always makes me feel better) and got some groceries with G and spent some time with him and though it's already 3:30, I'm confident the rest of my day will be productive. I swear, the blouse will be done tonight and the skirt will be mostly done. Only I keep having these visions of gathered ruffles and linings dancing around my mind, so it might take longer than expected. >_<
You know, I'd love to have a time-card punch thingy to figure out how long my sewing projects actually take. The thing is, though, that I never do one thing at a time. I'll be in the middle of assembling a garment, then decide I have to change the music, then sit at the computer doing other stuff for 20 minutes, then go back to sewing for a bit, then fix myself a snack, etc. etc. So at the end of the day, all I know is that I'm still not done, and I seem to have done many pointless things.
