blodeueddI never knew browsing Amazon could be so entertaining and informative. So there's this one person accusing a book of POETRY of being plotless and having no characters. *coughchoke* Then there's another dope complaining that Guy Gavriel Kay's Lord of Emperors is a bad book because book #2 in a trilogy is supposed to tie up loose ends from book #1 and set the stage for book #3. Hint: it's not a trilogy! On the bright side, book #4 of A Song of Ice and Fire is due out next August.
Another day with nothing much to do. I'm currently trying to finish up the curtains I promised G for his dining room... six months ago. >_< Hey, at least they'll be done before 2005! Anyway, curtains a actually harder to make than they look. You have to measure, because even the slightest difference looks uneven. Right now I'm just trying to free up some room to better organise my things, a concern precipitated by the event of the kitchen ceiling leaking the other day, almost right above my sewing machine. From now on, I'm putting the carrying case over it no matter what!
I'm trying to delude myself into thinking it was a good thing to have dragged my feet about the drapes, as it'll be a piece of cake to finish them with my serger. Or at least a good sight easier, if not cakey.
