Vending Machines
Mar. 7th, 2002 09:02 pmMy vacation is ending rather abruptly, with this being my last night of freedom. I start work at 9:00 tomorrow morning. Harsh, perhaps, but the good thing about working is that you get money! Yay!
Yesterday, I got a VCD from my friend Alex, who is currently living in Japan. It's a very amusing video-letter of sorts, mostly of things he found interesting and/or strange about Japan. His commentary on vending machines, roads and cars is especially hilarious. I won't bother describing it in more detail, because I'll no doubt show it to most of you. The bit about the vending machines, at least. So thanks, Alex!
In this spirit of public thankfulness, (before I degenerate into a little pile of mush, and wouldn't you all love to see that happen!), thanks also to Gerard, who is very very cool and very very nice and who gave me THE LORD OF THE RINGS, I mean the actual 3-hour movie that's still out in cinemas, on CD! *squeals of fangirlish delight* I haven't had a chance to watch it yet, but my brother has. Go figure.
