Sandals, pink lemonade, driving with the windows down to let the smell of summer in... and it's only April, with nary a new leaf in sight.

Yesterday was incredibly hot and muggy, so humid that the noon-time sun was shrouded in haze. What made it bearable was that the pavement hasn't really had a chance to absorb any heat yet, so the heat was only coming from the air.

I feel oddly light-headed, as though my mind were somewhere else.
