She works hard for her money!
Sep. 11th, 2002 04:58 pmThough "work" is relative.
Yes, I am now a working gal. Working for my mother's boss, in the same building as her. And my boyfriend, as it turns out. So I ride to and from work with my mum and lunch with G, when he isn't doing personality tests. Certainly more fun than taking the bus and eating alone!
I realised the other day that constantly telling M-P, while in Vietnam, "No, you can't buy it, it's blue!" caused me to not buy anything blue myself. At least nothing royal or navy blue (I did get pale blue and aqua) though I almost bought that lovely royal blue and gold top but didn't because the shape wasn't right for me. I feel pretty silly, especially because at the end of our trip I kept having to hold myself back because I already had something in whatever colour caught my eye. To think that I didn't even *look* at the blue because I was so busy steering M-P away from it!
Bloh.
Two more days to go before Friday... At least I only have one student, and he's very interesting. Still, it's hard to spend six hours a day, five days a week talking with the same person. And I have to think up good interview questions, too!
I'm in the middle of a complete re-evaluation of my wardrobe, trying to get myself to part with some things I haven't worn in a while but still like. To make room for new stuff, obviously! Because I am now a proud *sweatdrop* member of the Suzy Shier Club, whatever it's called, so I get discounts and other incentives to shop. Like I really needed them, especially since I saw that gorgeous black dress... Now I have to go back and try it on, and see if it's really all that gorgeous.
So what did I do last night? Stuff! I love thunderstorms.
