WHERE were the kids?! Practically *nobody* was out trick-or-treating! And hardly any of the houses on my street were decorated, which was pretty lame. Blah. The weather wasn't even that bad, they just all probably went to the richer neighbourhoods to get more chocolate bars, or something.
I dreamt that I had decided to give my prom dress to A-L, but when I took it out of my closet, it was sky blue instead of dark violet, like we remembered, and it had lots of silver sparkles on it. We took it over to A-L's house to investigate, and found that I had completely sewn sky blue tulle over it, for some reason. We were in her brothers' (yes, they all shared it and it was huge) room, and her mother kept asking me to choose one of the wrapped presents that was on the windowsill. The thing was, I knew that the "presents" were only the twins' tuques and slippers and hockey equipment and so I finally chose a sock, which caused her no end of mirth. All this took place somewhere by the Mediterranean, on a balmy summer day.
You know, I think I'd be willing to forgoe a week's pay just for the chance to sleep. Actually teaching in front of a class, like I do every afternoon, now, is draining like you wouldn't believe, and I feel like I'm slowly losing my grip on sanity.
I'm all colourful today, green with silver dragons! ^_^
