A nice weekend came to a close with a visit to the Big Apple (the other one) where we saw a heron, llamas and wild, vicious bunny rabbits. I also purchased a pie.
Before that, we went to Pacific Mall -- twice! Because a certain silly G wanted his wo wangji le mingzi de ji and then decided that cheap delicious sushi was more to his liking. Not that I'm complaining, mind you, it was good. Sated for a while, my growing bubble-tea addiction was.
The Bata Shoe Museum is great. Two hours is plenty to see the whole collection, even for someone like me who reads 90% of the info on display. Interesting stuff.
What else? I bought clothes, of course. RW & Co. took some of my money, shops in Pacific Mall and on Queen St. took some more and a nice Thai restaurant with a kick-ass table d'hôte had its share. Yes, much of the weekend was spent eating, or at least thinking of where and when we were going to eat.
I haven't been to the gym in a week, so please excuse me while I go put on my exercise gear.
