5 boxes down, MANY more to go. *hides* The problem is that for the most part (except for my candles and related paraphernalia), nothing fully fills a certain number of boxes. My tapes filled 1 3/4 boxes, so I added some DVDs -- but now I have 5 or 6 DVDs left over and lots of books in lots of different sizes. Still, I'm glad I'm not moving far away, the longest my things will be in boxes is maybe a week, if I'm really lazy. Or don't have enough shelves.

Actually, the main problem is that there isn't room in my room for me to move around with all those boxes. For now it's not so bad, most of them are empty so I can kick them out of the way, but there's only so much space to pile them up in once they're full. My things are just going from one "container" (i.e. shelves, drawers) to another, so I'm certainly not gaining any space. And I've already monopolized most of what free space we have in the house (like my brothers' room, the entrance hall) with my Ikea and Canadian Tire purchases. *sigh*

A water main burst this morning and though the water's up and running again, it's brown. There go my shower plans for the morning!

I bought Chicago last night and had to laugh at the blurb on the back. "Sexy Renée Zellweger"? Queen Latifah and Catherine Zeta-Jones are light-years ahead of her in that department! Also, there's a hilarious song that was cut out of the theatrical version for some reason. Can't see why!

What are your thoughts on cable vs. high-speed internet? Seems that with Videotron they cost about the same, but is one better than the other? Their site says high-speed is faster and I think you get to download more stuff, but is it more prone to not working properly?
