Salon gastronomique... *gurgle* Next year will see me there again, you can count on it! The salmon... The scallops... The sorbet... The terrine... Feeeeeeeeeed meeeeee!

I had enough dirty laundry to do two loads but I'm still working on my drying technique. I should have used two dryers to begin with, I think the towel would have dried faster.

Yesterday, [livejournal.com profile] desayuno and I went to Montreal for the day. I wish there were an Urban Outfitters in Ottawa, I love their stuff! It's too bad their home decorating stuff is so expensive, but that lampshade was gorgeous! (un?)Fortunately, I don't have an appropriate lamp for it. Maybe next time. I also got myself a beaded curtain and had to lug it all around town with me afterward.

We went to the Chateau warehouse, which was an experience unto itself. The place is huge and they have the usual boom boom beats going on and the prices are ridiculously low, if you manage to find something in your size (harder than it may seem, because most of the stuff there is leftovers, so either tiny or huge), which seems to send the shoppers into a frenzy. It was pretty busy, being Saturday afternoon and all, and I decided I wanted to try some clothes on. While I was changing, A-L came over and started knocking urgently on my stall door. I couldn't understand what she was saying because of the music, but after a minute she said "It's okay!" and left. Turns out she'd forgotten we'd checked our bags at the front and she thought she'd lost my bag of previous purchases. By that time, the music sounded like game show music, getting faster and faster. It was high time we left.
I Am A: True Neutral Elf Ranger Bard

Alignment:
True Neutral characters are very rare. They believe that balance is the most important thing, and will not side with any other force. They will do whatever is necessary to preserve that balance, even if it means switching allegiances suddenly.

Race:
Elves are the eldest of all races, although they are generally a bit smaller than humans. They are generally well-cultured, artistic, easy-going, and because of their long lives, unconcerned with day-to-day activities that other races frequently concern themselves with. Elves are, effectively, immortal, although they can be killed. After a thousand years or so, they simply pass on to the next plane of existance.

Primary Class:
Rangers are the defenders of nature and the elements. They are in tune with the Earth, and work to keep it safe and healthy.

Secondary Class:
Bards are the entertainers. They sing, dance, and play instruments to make other people happy, and, frequently, make money. They also tend to dabble in magic a bit.

Deity:
Silvanus is the True Neutral god of nature. He is also known as the Patron of Druids. His followers believe in the perfect balance of nature, and believe that nature's bounty is preferable to any other 'civilizing' method. They wear leather or metallic scale mail, constructed of leaf-shaped scales. Silvanus's symbol is an oak leaf.
