So, you want to be a novelist?
Nov. 5th, 2003 07:32 pmHallowe'en was very nice this year. My dress turned out beautifully, if I do say so myself, and though I didn't have time to style my hair, I think I still looked rather authentic.
Last weekend in Toronto was a blast. Shopping was done, good food was eaten and much fun was had by all. Girl trips rock! I wish I'd written this just after getting back; now I can't remember much of what I wanted to say.
Of course, I bought clothes. What else would I buy? Well, I did get some very nice cushion-covers (mm, silver silk!) and a couple of cute things I don't really need but are fun to have. Food, also, so G got his special chicken and I ate that delicious fish with the sweet, salty, spicy sauce.
I finally went and signed up for NaNoWriMo... Will I be able to write 2000 words a day? Let's see what I'm made of, shall we? Let's hope I'm not as lazy as with my dishes; they've been sitting there for days, unwashed. In my defense, I must say that I haven't spent much time at home lately.
