May. 8th, 2004 02:17 pmMmm, apple pie à la mode. Why is it called that, anyway? I don't see anything particularly fashionable about it; either that, or it's à la mode de something, and they forgot to specify what. *ponders the many possibilities*
In starting the new pants, I have found out that I do not, as I had hoped, have my work cut out for me. Since I'm taking over where another seamstress balked, I'm actually going to have to go back and trim what she didn't cut properly. Fortunately, the pattern looks so far to be wonderfully simple. Almost suspiciously simple -- watch me screw it up! Since I'm not doing my pair first (damn deadlines), I'm anxious to get it right on the first try.
