(no subject)

When I have a yen for making something exotic, like butter chicken or red Thai curry, I buy Asian Home Gourmet spice pastes; it's cheap, tasty and easier than trying to make up my own spice melanges. On the front of each package, beneath the name of the dish, is written "No Added MSG, Preservatives or Artificial Colours". But on almost every packet I've bought so far, and from different stores, the MSG has been crossed out with two asterisks written in black marker. I wonder, is there a poor worker at the printing plant whose job it is to correct these things? Anyway, tonight I shall try the Indonesian Mee Goreng Sambal Stir Fry Noodles.

Tonight is also the night I vote, hoping against hope that the Liberals will scrape through because honestly, though I'm not going to vote for them, the alternative could be much worse.

In other news, the skirt is done, wonky zipper and all. *considering swearing to stab herself with a seam ripper if she ever so much as goes near sheer floaty synthetic fabrics for the next few projects*
