I have to rant *sometime*, don't I?
Sep. 8th, 2004 10:00 amG and I rented Paycheck last night. It was his idea! Anyway, it was an okay film, as Ben Affleck (like a Ken doll, really: better looking, less personality) was balanced out by the always-gorgeous and radiant Uma Thurman. There were a couple of plot details I would have liked to have seen explained, but what reduced me to incoherent screams of rage was that in Movie Land, the people who write headlines for movie newspapers don't know the difference between "it's" and "its". GRAR! *incoherent screams of rage*. Really, it's horribly depressing.
Something else I find annoying: what's the point of businesses having street addresses (you know, the numbers you put beside/over a door) if no one on the bloody boulevard has them posted anywhere on their store? I had to drive all the way up and down Maloney Blvd. because the store I was looking for didn't have a huge sign and I didn't see a single number anywhere, so I didn't even know which side to look on.
