Between the slow cashier and the clerk who can't count, Fabricville can't be making that much profit; they really should invest in a computerized system. As it is, the clerk had to write out my fabric receipt twice, giving me two 50% discounts on the same piece fabric (I'm not sure why) and giving me 50% off a fabric that wasn't on sale. So for 3m of fabric, she first charged 25$, then when told about the discount it went down to 3 something, because she forgot it was 3m and wrote 1, then finally it ended up being 7 something. Which I'm fairly certain is less than it should have been, but is it my fault she can't count, even with a calculator? I didn't feel like standing around for another five minutes while she filled out another receipt.

Last night I took a very appreciative G out to Friday's Roast Beef House, which is supposedly haunted. We saw no ghosts, but the food was lovely. It's so nice to linger over a meal; we sat down at seven o'clock and left at ten. Afterwards we went back to Château Punkie and watched Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow, which was fun, even though it was mislabelled. It's not a movie, it's a comic book! But Angelina in uniform... :)~

This morning I went to the gym to burn some fat, as I ate half a roast duck last night, after which I had my aforementioned bizarre math experience at Fabricville. And for supper, G and I are off to my parents' for another birthday supper. So since we celebrated last night and will again tonight, G will have no cake tomorrow, his actualy birthday.
Ebay listings are sometimes rather quaint, such as this description of a turquoise sari:

It is having very Beautiful & Attractive Color, which is lovable by all.
