(no subject)

My stash WILL be restashed before I go to bed, damnit! Then I'll be able to get back to my scrap quilt blocks and do some ironing.

G and I started watching Full Metal Alchemist last night. Shut up, I know we're oh-so-behind the times. It's funny, I haven't watched an anime series in years, except for rewatching Utena, but it all came flooding back: the slapstick, the super-deformed, the mama-worship, the upbeat opening song, the "Oniisan" this and the "Masaka!" that. The fact that I can follow some of the dialogue is actually a distraction, because I want to ignore the subtitles, but I know that I'd be totally lost without them, at least regarding important plot elements.

G is about to order from KFC because he's too lazy to walk for ten minutes to the nearest thar-be-lots-of-places-to-eat neighbourhood. It's closed for renovations, so we'll be going out after all. Apparently, he's too lazy to look up Pizza Hut's phone number.

I'm thinking I should sew a dust-cover for my printer.

ETA: Okay, so we're NOT going out after all, G decided to order pizza over the internet. Yes, seriously. Because we all know that deciphering a japanese website and filling in an order form is so much easier than ordering over the phone. *rolls eyes as stomach complains loudly*
