Apr. 14th, 2007 11:30 amThanks for the get-well wishes, I'm feeling better today. My skin is still sensitive, though only around my midsection. Odd. I guess that means I'll be going out sans bra today, but I'm wondering if there's any way I could also go out sans waistband of any kind... Probably not. But at least the silk pyjamas aren't too painful to wear. If I had silk pyjamas that were appropriate outdoor wear for this weather, I'd so be going out in those. *sigh*
Yesterday I scored a great victory: I made my way, zombie-like, to the convenience store two blocks away to buy a rice ball and some milk. Note that it didn't occur to me at the time to cross the street (the grocery store is right across the street from the convenience store) to buy kleenex and dumplings and laundry detergent. Though come to think of it, I don't think they sell laundry detergent at Spunky. Yes, my local grocery store is called Spunky, a fact which never fails to make me smile.
Now, it's only 11:30 and I've so far eaten a whole bowl of cereal! I consider this a good start to the day, since yesterday I ate nothing but a croissant, a rice ball and half a bowl of soba noddles. And though I can't say I feel really hungry, at least the thought of food no longer fills me with supreme indifference and mild disgust.
