Feb. 7th, 2008 11:06 amYesterday saw the third (and fourth, if you count the midnight repeat) snowfall of the year in Tokyo. Shock and disbelief! This time it didn't stick, though there were still a few small patches left over from Sunday.
Yesterday also marked the one-year anniversary of my moving into my new life. One year ago, I accompanied my other to the airport, saw her off, then took the train to my new apartment.
It's weird to think it's already been a year. On the surface, things haven't changed all that much (once I left G, that is), but I have come a long way internally. Of course, that kind of stuff doesn't happen du jour au lendemain, so you don't notice the shift until you suddenly think to yourself, "A year ago, I was aching and sad, wondering what came next. How far I've come!" I still may not know what will happen next, but I've never been one to worry about such things. It'll all work out.
