Unfortunately, there was no cool dancing and no Wade Robson involved, but I received the notice that G is filing for divorce.

Ooh, it sounds so formal! Grant me my divorce, Lizzy! XD

The rest of the document isn't very interesting, apart from the fact that we "commenced cohabitation" in May of 2005, not August, as G apparently wrote. *shrug*

So, yeah. That's the first step, now I need to have someone witness me signing an affidavit, so I need to find an English-speaking lawyer/notary/someone. I could go to the Embassy, but that would mean taking time off work, since the consular service is only open until 2 or something.

Stuff. And... stuff.

Yesterday's Costco expedition was a success, I'd say. Becca got her Tide, peanut butter and soup; I got a DVD player* with KARAOKE FUNCTION and a cool storage unit (with little doors! I'm so easily amused... ) that will be for my sewing stuff. Neither of us bought sheep. But we did buy World Wildlife Fund-endorsed brush pens. Why WWF-endorsed? We don't know.

Speaking of stuff, the stuffing smells deeeeelicious. So delicious that Tabitha is sitting next to the pot, mewing pitifully.

I gave you some of the chicken liver, you spoiled beast, you think you're getting stuffing too?!

Anyway, after we failed to find fowl seasoning at Costco, or rather Costco failed to provide me with fowl seasoning, my mother helpfully emailed to let me know that I needed parsley, sage, rosemary and... oregano. :D It turns out that the magical, mouth-watering smell of Thanksgiving and Christmas at my parents' house is oregano with a dash of sage. I hope my version turns out all right, even though we've got no actual turkey to stuff!

I'd say I hope it tastes as good as it looks, but stuffing never looks good. I hope it tastes as good as it smells!

Now I'd better do some cleaning, because my apartment is in a sorry state.

* I named it Atobe-chan, because the box says "King of Playability", and who's the king? Damn right he is. XDDD
