Dec. 30th, 2009 12:59 amThis morning, I strolled into Yodobashi Camera, fully intending to buy myself a D3000 Double Lens Kit, but walked out instead with a D5000 Double Lens Kit. ^o^ It was only Y12,000 more than the D3000, has a cool flippy screen, and lots of fun settings to play around with. Even a food setting! XD And video! Plus, there's a special campaing going on that meant I got 20% points, so I've essentially got Y16,000 more to spend, not to mention the Y10,000 cash back campaign...
Because of this, my little baby, my D40, my first DSLR, will be gathering dust on a shelf. Is anyone is interested in buying it off me? I was thinking of asking Y10,000 for it, which would essentially be for the lens, a basic 18-55 that will work on any Nikon. The camera itself has marks on the mirror (I photoshop them out, but you could always have it replaced, I guess?) and sometimes won't focus without a good whack to the underside of it. Otherwise, it takes lovely pictures, and if you want to play around with a DSLR without shelling out the big bucks, this would be an ideal opportunity.
