Canamerica Day update: Kimberly and I will be at Nishi-Kasai station (Tozai line) at 9:30 on Sunday morning. The water park is about fifteen minutes away on foot, so we figure that way, we'll be able to be there by 10:00. Who'll meet us at the station? If anyone wants to join us later, it's not too hard to find the place, but let me or someone else know in advance, as I imagine our phones will be stowed safely in our lockers once we're inside.

For those who want to meet us for lunch afterward, we can meet at the station around 2:00 or 2:30 to go to El Torito. How does that sound? ^_^v

My accomplishment, let me show you it: woohoo! )

I'm really excited to see that people have gotten on board with my sticker idea. Let's accomplishment tsugezaaa! :D

In the spirit of mutual encouragement, here's what I'll do: you tell me what your goal is, make yourself a sticker sheet/similar idea that works for you, and work toward completing it. When it's done, post a picture or scan of it, or email it to me, whatever, and I'll make you a little one-of-a-kind prize. <3

I finally managed to pin down Alexis to meet up with him for eats and drinks last night. It's pretty sad that we talked more when he was still back in Canada, but it's true! At least then we chatted over MSN pretty regularly and on Skype from time to time. XD Now we're both so busy, and our schedules rarely match up, so we haven't seen that much of each other since he moved here. It was nice to catch up, and I don't know if it's the language and culture -- damn, do I ever miss speaking French in my daily life -- or because he's a friend from back home (though I didn't know him when I lived back home), but it's different from hanging out with my other friends here. It makes me feel a bit homesick at times, to be honest, and few things do that.

Another thing that makes me feel homesick is hearing from A-L that she and M-P would like to come visit at the same time, though it wouldn't be for another year. Oh god, that would be the most wonderful thing in the world. Even if it doesn't pan out, I can have lots of happy daydreams about it and imagine how much fun we'd have together. Sushi! Shopping! Reminiscing about secondary school! Watching A-L get drunk on half a sip of anything! Just like old times! I kind of think it would require a mini-marathon of Fushigi Yuugi. Or, even better, find a super lame romantic movie and force M-P to watch it. XDDD
