Hi, I just thought I'd let you know how enjoyable your your journal is. We look forward to it every morning--but the corollary is, if it's not there, we're grumpy and violent for the rest of the day. However, I can't stop myself from correcting two things you've done: once you wrote something like "I could of done it" (yes you did!)--oh, unhappy day that all my readings of Squirrel Nutkin had such little effect--and you seem to have little understanding of non-restrictive relative pronouns. Example: "We went to a nice hotel, that had a swimming pool" (which is a sentence you might write) is wrong; it should be "We went to a nice hotel, which had..." or "We went to a nice hotel, one that..."
The only exciting thing that's happened to me is the loss of me specs. Gita and I went on a canoing expedition to Meech Lake, site of failed accords. We managed to capsize (the water was only chest-deep, fortunately), and I emerged specless. Thank goodness Gita was trained to drive Vanessa.
I'm into home renovations now. You'll stand speechless upon re-entering our peerless abode. The entrance hall has a new set of hooks, one that even Tristan qualified as "stylish." Perhaps our new back porch will be finished, and you'll be able to sample Max's rum punch creations as you blithely survey the antics of our egregious cat colony.
