Calling all the fine folks living in Japan:

I'm going home to Canada for two weeks in August, from the 1st to the 16th. As I can't take Tabitha with me, and I don't want to leave her cooped up in a pet hotel for such a long time, I need a petsitter. (And I also have a plant that needs watering.) Would any of you lovely people be willing to help a girl out, even if for only half that time?

If you're not a Tokyo resident, but you want to hang out where all the cool people are, then you've got yourself a free place to crash! If you live 'round these parts, I'll of course pay your train/bus fare, and if for whatever reason you want to camp out here, you're more than welcome to do so.

You'll have my eternal gratitude, as well as Tabitha's -- or as much gratitude as a cat can muster, at any rate. XD And I'll treat you to a really nice dinner, or whatever other form of compensation you deem appropriate.

ETA: Forgot to specify that I live a 15-minute bus ride/30-minute walk from Kichijouji Station on the Chuo-Sobu line, which is 16 minutes from both Shinjuku and Shibuya.

Also, I have a large tv, if that makes any difference. XD

I can't say definite yes, but I might be able to-I'm working on going to a language school in Tokyo for August, so I'd be up in that time period.

Any idea when you'll know for sure? :3 Of course, you could stay even after I'm back. And even if you don't go to a language school, it'll get you out of the inaka. XD

Grumpy!kitty was actually quite pleased with herself for having taken over my sexy new ironing board. Because obviously I bought it for HER, not because I need it to, you know, IRON STUFF or anything... @_@

I don't know what cat-sitting entails, so if you are specific about what you want, I can try to be of the best help for you! XD I understand how important pets are to folks, so I will do my best to understand what you are asking!

I'm shipping off all the paperwork on Monday-I have my board's approval to go, but they don't have my new dates (I was going to go to Kyoto for language school, my CIR couldn't bother to get off her ass and tell me that I got approval before the deadline passed.) With a little luck, I should have it all set by the end of the week/early next week.

And of course you did, don't you understand? That's not an ironing board, that's a new sleepyspot for kitty!

Entertaining, yes... But I haven't yet posted the story about how last week she RAN RIGHT THROUGH THE SCREEN AND CHASED ANOTHER CAT THROUGH THE RAIN! -__-;;;;

It's not that hard, she just needs to be fed and given fresh water (every day if possible, but she should be fine on her own for 2 days if left a sufficient supply of everything), her litter box scooped out (and changed every 4 or 5 days) and patted and played with and loved for a bit, have the window open for a while so she can sit in it.
