Hmm... Would you mind greatly arriving on the 31st? I leave on the 1st, probably around noon, and it'll be a bit less stressful for me if you're already settled in the night before (I can show you the routes to the station and all that in the morning). I'll be seeing tenimyu on the 31st, so I could meet you at Tokyo station or wherever you arrive.
