First night and day of travel were a success! The kender (me) and the hobbit (Emily) make good travelling companion, it seems. So far we've seen one of Japan's Big Three Gardens, visited a castle, walked around a super pretty historical district, eaten good food, and partaken of Toyoko Inn's amenities, including the little "ladies only" special hair care package.

And now, off to Hiroshima!
