No sun, no green

blodeueddIt seems that November has finally pulled through, with two perfectly dreary days in a row. That being said, I can't wait for *real* snow!
A trip to The Comic Book Shoppe yielded volume 7 of Banana Fish, which is better than volume 6, though maybe I wasn't in the right frame of mind when I read 6. This volume, however, is much stronger on plot (the last one was more action-oriented, IIRC) and the pacing is very good. I want volume 8! *whine*
I also bought the first volume of the Mahou Tsukai Tai! tv series, and am ready to smack the releasing company a good one on the head. "You're face" indeed. Come on, people, haven't you ever heard of a proof-reader? Of a script editor? At least (hah!) it was only one mistake (that I spotted), as opposed to Strangers In Paradise, that sports waaaay too many its/it's (and other) mistakes. So you're not published by one of the big companies, is that an excuse to not know how to spell properly? At the very least, hire someone who knows basic grammar to make it look like you do. And yes, I'm aware that my own livejournal contains a few stupid mistakes, but I plan on correcting them as soon as I have the time to read back through all my entries.
