oooh this sounds good!
cardamom is an interesting spice!
just needs to be used in the right quantities X3
I use it in pho/soup, too not as powder put the whole seed

the recipe sounds really good but I cannot get some of the ingredients here easily :( mirin is really expensive...so I don't have it at home. but! I actually have a similar recipe which uses oyster sauce instead of mirin (it's 800 yen for a tiny, tiny bottle...like 250ml?). I usually use oyster sauce for my stir fries :3 of course it doesn't come out the same but still :D
