must admit i had the same trouble.. didn't feel much for Harry and the gang - that's why i decided i'd rather wait for the movies to come out for the next books, and spend my time reading other stuff. especially considering i'm such a slow reader to start with.. (though, the fact that the HP books are getting bigger and bigger, and that a 2h30-3h00 movie can't possibly show it all annoys me loads..) right now i'm going thru Dune and i feel a lot more involved in the story - even started dreaming about it..
