Something amusing

blodeueddWhen I was around ten years old, I bought a book of ghost stories at a garage sale (more on that later). When I got home, I discovered a hand-written note between the pages and kept it, for some reason. Back then, I suppose I was intrigued by it, wondering who these people could be, how their story turned out. Now, I just find it hilarious. Sincere, perhaps, but hilarious. And while reading, keep in mind that it's written in wide, rounded letters, the style that I think has been admired by twelve-years-old girls for the past twenty years. All the weird spellings are her own.
Dearest Rick,
As I sit hear and watch you, something comes over me. I remember the first time I took pride in you when you were in football. I always thought I was lucky to go out out with a football player. I don't know, I guess, It was because it made me feel as if I was somebody, because I was going out with a football player. And now that same feeling has come over me. I know that you feel better about yourself when you play football, and I can see it in the way you act and feel. This was always one thing that I stood by with you, and I'm looking forward to stand by you for a long time.
I know we've hadhad some tough times, and an I know I haven't been able to make it better. But know as I sit here and watch you, I feel so proud of your, and of being your girlfriend. I know I've been acting kinda of weird, and as you would say, "talking stupid". Well now as I watch and all the old memories of you and me and football come over, well, it reminds me of old times. When you and I first met. Do you know what, It's a great feeling. I love you and I don't mean to get mad or fight with you, and I promise I'll try to ma do my best about it.
Oh ya, about that talk that I wanted to have with you, just forget it, it's not important any more. And all that talk about not being sure how long we'll be together, well, it doesn't matter anymore, because I love you and love can last for eternity.
You might think that this is a real stupid letter. Well, it started out becaue I was bored, but it ended up because I cared. I'll love you always!
