And score I did, during the weekly soccer match. I did it almost accidentally, too; there were nearly 20 people on the field and it was more like a pinball game than soccer, at times. Still, that was my second goal!

Though it was exceptionally mild out this morning, I shall not be fooled. It was only a practice run for spring.

My skirt is finally done and it's quite cute, if I do say so myself. Now M-P's top is cut and I don't have the usual jitters before starting a pattern, since I've already made this one before. Except for the sleeves, which I had to design long; I just hope there'll be sufficient room for elbow movement. Though M-P has skinnier arms than I do, so it should be all right.

I ran around town looking for coloured lining, again. Would you believe that there is no such thing as orange lining? You can get copper, rust, peach or salmon, but there's no such thing as tangerine-hued lining. And at Walmart, they only had white, black, red and royal blue lining. White, red and black I get, but of all the shades of blue, why royal? If you're trying to line something discreetly, it's not really the way to go. Besides, who wears royal blue?

Gar, and Ebay is still trying to ruin me. Now my imminent move to Château Punkie is starting to give me dangerous ideas, such as, "I only have one more month of rent to pay, so that means 500 more dollars a month to spend!" Then I have to remind myself that it's the season of income tax and that I really should be saving up for when I won't be working, right?

I'm watching Moving Up on TLC. And I don't get it. The premise is that a couple/family moves into the house of another couple/family who is also moving. So here they are, going on about how Cindy & Doug are going to be painting over the flowers that Rosemary spent years painting all over the walls of her house. But really, why the hell should Rosemary be allowed to care about this? She's moving, the house is no longer hers, get over it! You can't expect the people who buy your old house to leave everything as is. Seems to me they're really strapped for concepts.
