I was shredding some papers when I noticed both the cats sitting in the doorway to my office/sewing room, ears forward, watching intently as I fed old bills into the machine. They couldn't seem to figure out what I was doing; I obviously wasn't sewing (not noisy enough) and I wasn't vacuuming (not scary enough), so what new odd human activity was I up to? Apparently nothing very interesting. They wandered away.
