That's it, I'm absolutely convinced they're vanity sizing shoes, now. Why is it that when I was 13, I wore a size 7, but now I wear a size 6? Today I bought a pair of cheap little ballet-flat-type shoes for the summer and now that I'm home, I'm thinking that I probably could have gone with a 5. I find it hard to believe that half an hour a week, on average, of dancing en pointe has shrunk my feet, so what other explanation is there?
