*ghostly sounds*
Oct. 31st, 2006 02:15 pmStill on my Leonard Cohen kick. Thanks, Leonard, you carried me through a difficult week.
As I wrote a little while back, tomorrow will be the beginning of... something different. I'm going through a very rough time, for various reasons that I don't want to discuss yet, and I hope that I'll be able to get myself on the right track. Let's see if I can start doing some of that today, by tidying up my sewing room after The Week Of Frantic Costume-Making. Also, I have to sign up for NaNoWriMo but I do believe that my password was in my old Videotron account which I no longer have, so I'll have to think up a new identitiy.
Tonight is Halloween and there should be some goblins and ghouls running around the Embassy grounds, so I'll be wearing my dress again. Have a look!

You costumer types, please don't look too closely at the back, Istarted working on this too late I didn't have time to do it over properly, because I had to redo the sleeves after I noticed I'd set them in backwards.

And here, the fearsome pirate G Sparrow. The smudges around his mouth? That's the result of ONE WHOLE WEEK of not shaving. *snicker*

At any rate, I'm quite proud of the dress, the weird back notwithstanding. And G's pirate shirt was quite fun and easy to do and came out looking exactly as I'd pictured it, which is always a nice surprise!
