Nov. 7th, 2006 05:44 pmHow nice it would be if my urges to clean up my sewing room and get things organised didn't conflict with my desire to do something, in this case the quilt. My thought of "I'll just look for [totally unrelated to sewing item] in the laundry closet" wound up in me finding more blue fabric that I didn't even remember I had, which in turn made me think that emptying my stash closet and sorting things might turn up everything I need for the quilt, thus eliminating the need to buy anything except batting for it, which was the whole point of the quilt to begin with. But then I thought that I might as well try to complete the inventory of my stash, which needs updating completing. The easiest thing to do would most likely be to completely empty the closet and not put anything back in unless it's entered in the notebook, but that would mean either a) doing nothing but that until it's done (no mean feat!) or b) total chaos in here as I attempt to do it little by little, while still working on Other Things.
Bloh.
Oh, what the hell, stash inventory it is.
