The Countdown Continues

I have... *counts* 11 boxes ready to go! And one of those is only CDs. O_O I never realised I had so many.

Today, I must:

1 - go to Zellers and buy glasses and containers
2 - go to apartment and pick up keys from nice landlady who's getting me a new fridge
3 - pack more boxes

We can't drink tap water for at least another day (because of yesterday's burst water main) so my mother bought big bottles of spring water. Strangely enough, it brought back memories of a time when we used to do that regularly (I'd completely forgotten about it), before we got a water filter for the kitchen sink.

My phone line is all set to go tomorrow, those wanting my new number just have to ask. Now I have to call Videotron to see when they can set me up; hopefully by then I'll have a tv!

It just occurred to me that I hadn't written anything about my new computer, so here are all the boring details.

I wanted to get the one advertised in the Future Shop flier that had an LCD screen, a DVD drive and a CD-RW drive. Once at the store, though, I was told they didn't have any left. However, the sales guy offered me the same price for a different brand LCD screen and a different brand computer with a DVD-RW drive; so it doesn't look quite as snazzy as what I wanted, but it's still cool.

You know what? When I have my own computer (with internet!) at my own place, nothing will be able to stop me from posting pointless updates three times a day!

Don't worry, I don't think I'll ever be that bad. ^_~
