All right, I may not know very many Muslims (and I'm assuming these men were), but I do know this: at some point around noon, everyday, my Muslim coworker goes to the washroom, fills a cup with water and goes into a stall. Because she's praying. I saw her perform her ablutions a couple of times at the sink, but I guess she didn't want to make people wait for her. A couple of other Muslim women who work in our building do the same. I can't answer for men, because I don't spend much time hanging out in men's lavatories, but isn't it just possible that those musicians were doing the same? Following that train of thought, a few possibilities for the long, thin package and the little red book come to mind, but I'll stop here as that's too much time to waste because of some paranoid twit.
