Yesterday I scared myself by making a to-do list broken down by days, then became slightly less scared when I promptly did not follow it. I re-wrote it today and almost sort of accomplished my main goals. A couple of the items are only half-done, so I don't really feel justified in crossing them out. My only consolation is that I included things like going to the gym, which aren't really necessary at all. Another cunning plan, however, to save time and money by waxing my legs myself instead of going to the salon, didn't turn out quite as planned. It's a lot cheaper, yes, but I've so far spent half an hour trying and have only really managed to render my shins hair-free, if I can call it that. And good lord, I'm not holding out much hope for my knees -- the hairs there are tenacious little bastards and I've yet to make any progress at all.
