Getting up in the morning is so much easier when there's a warm golden sun waiting for me on the other side of the blind. So much more natural.

While changing my sheets last night, I was in a sort of "This is probably the last time I'll change the sheets in this apartment" kind of mood. It feels weird that in a month and a half, I'll be moving in with G. I certainly never imagined that I'd be doing what amounts to getting married at the ripe old age of 23 -- but the nearly three years we've been together have flown by so fast that it seems the most natural thing in the world to do so. Also, we've reached that stage where we want to be together but not together all the time, e.g. each doing our own thing. Right now it's a pain, especially on days when I have my dance classes, because I'm obliged to spend time at his place, where I can't do stuff like use the internet or sew. But that'll soon change, as once I move my internet account we'll be getting a wireless router so I can have my computer in MY sewing/computer/guest room and G can freeze away in his little office downstairs. >:)

On top of that, I'll be mistress of my own house! Yeah, so G's name is on the papers and he's paying for it, but that only a minor detail, right? And he cooks so well, that sweetens the deal even more.

An item nearly identical to one I bid for but lost is now listed on Ebay. Should I bid for it? It's just as beautiful, but I resigned myself to living without it and I feel I should have at least a twinge of desire somewhere in the bottom of my heart... Damn it, there are so many pretty things! Grarrwrar *nashes teeth* Now why won't ING hurry up and send me the information I need to do my income tax? I need to know how much money is coming my way from Ottawa and leaving for Quebec.

Searching for something totally unrelated, Google turned up a Google Answers page with various replies to a query about where a Christian young man could shop for lingerie for his bride-to-be without being confronted by pictures of "scantily-clad women". It's just... *scratches her head* I like to think that I'm open-minded, but things like this never fail to gently amuse me, in a "People like that still exist?" kind of way. It's nice to see how serious he is about remaining faithful, though. Lucky girl. :)
