Moving is tough work. Don't let anybody tell you otherwise.

Though I'm somewhat loath to part with it (because it's cool), would anyone in the Ottawa/Montreal areas be interested in a beaded curtain? It's almost 1m wide and has strands of plastic beads in transparent rainbow colours. Let me know if you're interested.

The weekend has gone by so fast, it's hard to believe it's nearly nine o'clock already! I haven't even had supper, but I'm not all that hungry. G and I ate at Northern Style 2 (mmm, dumplings in spicy peanut sauce) and I ate so much that I don't think I have it in me to tackle a proper meal tonight.

Yesterday I attented a wedding shower for a friend from dance class. We went 5-pin bowling, which was weird for me because I haven't bowled 5 pins in years, the last few times I've been it was 10 pins, and so I sucked. We had lots of fun, though I don't know what prize my team won as I had to leave when all the others were going off to a restaurant.

Though my apartment is getting progressively emptier, it doesn't really look it, as things are strewn all about. G and I partially set up my sewing room today, and I don't think it will be as cramped as I'd thought. There are, however, only two electrical outlets in which to plug my computer, sewing machine, serger, iron, not to mention at least a couple of lamps. O_O Power bars, to me!

I've been having very odd, vivid dreams these past few days. The one after which I awoke this morning was the most coherent: I was twelve years old, daughter of a minor king and small for my age. I lived in a little castle in the countryside with my father and my younger brother, with whom I often went to play in the fields nearby with the village children. It was sometime between the 14th and 18th centuries. One day, while we were in the field, we saw a group of strangers approach on horseback. Knowing that they were there to take us away and harm our father, we tried to hide in our beds, but they found us. There was a woman among them, and she explained that they didn't want to hurt us, but we had to hurry and pack some clothes. They didn't believe in monarchy, she explained, but they really wanted us on their side, so they were to take us to another country so we could learn a better way to live.
