You know that feeling of knowing how much you have to do, what you want to do on top of that and being unable to lift a finger to do anything about it? Yeah.
It's so odd; I know I'm coming back in three years, but at the same time it feels so final. I keep thinking about my ancestors (some of them, such as my grandfather, not so far back) who left their home countries to come to Canada, knowing it was for good. How would I have dealt with that? Perhaps it's because I can't imagine wanting to move away from this country, I love it so much, but I can't quite wrap my head around it. Of all the places they could have ended up in, I'm glad it was here.
