It's tough going, but I'm trying to reajust my appetite. Actually, I'm trying to figure out what my appetite is. I haven't been exercising regularly since mid-June and since the beginning of July, things were so hectic that we ended up eating out or getting takeout more often than not, our routine completely shot to hell. Then, in Vancouver, despite the fact that I jogged every morning, we went to so many restaurants where the portions were big and delicious that I ate way too much, followed by Costume College, which was a few days of sitting, sewing and eating instant rice and noodles.

*keels over*

It's a good things the portions are smaller in Japan! Even though we've eaten at a lot of restaurants, the fact that the portions are smaller and the fact that we've eaten at several yakiniku places (you grill your own food, so it takes longer and you end up eating less) means that I'm slowly getting back into a routine of sorts. Also, there are a gym and pool right next door. I'm just trying to get back to a place where I feel my hunger and don't eat too much, I've been feeling like a blob.
