Sep. 15th, 2007 07:33 pmWhy is it that reorganising often seems to result in simply stuff being shifted from plastic bin to plastic bin? Indeed, I came back with so much new yarn in my suitcase (courtesy of my mother) that any space I'd liberated (by giving my brother the blanket I'd made for him) was soon filled. *sigh* Now I have to kick myself back into sewing gear and make some things for fall, as the weather's bound to start cooling down soon. Right? *sweats some more*
I went out walking this afternoon, telling myself I wouldn't buy anything except arack for my necklaces and earrings. Of course, after two weeks in Canada, I'd managed to forget how damn tempting stores are in Japan. Because have I mentioned I love shopping in Tokyo? I love shopping in Tokyo. Everything looks so stylish and fashionable and I MUST HAVE THOSE EARRINGS! I also bought the most adorable little dark green (with a bluish sheen) velvet jacket ever, but now I'm thinking I need something sleek and black to wear underneath. Luckily I have a little while to think about it, because it's still much too hot to even think of wearing velvet out of doors.
