Twice in one year!
Aah, yesterday was so natsukashiiii~~~~!
I know it's a feeling more often associated (in anime, at least!) with golden summer evenings or warm, breezy spring days, but I can't help feeling nostalgic when I see my breath mist in the air, when snowflakes land wetly in my hair, and my every step causes a splash and ripples the surrounding slush. Sure, this isn't the best that snow can be, but this is Tokyo -- I'll take what I can get, and if that means slushy snow all day long (yes! really!), then that works.
Today, however, is warm(er) and sunny.
In completely unrelated news, The L Word has come to Japan! The other day I spotted a big poster in a subway station, but my card had already been scanned, so I couldn't go back and look at it properly, to see which season it promoted. The photo (I'm assuming it's the cover of the DVD) looked like one of those "I'd rather go bare than wear fur" PETA ads. And yesterday, I saw a tv spot! Of all the scenes they could have chosen, they chose a few seconds of the Jenny-and-Carmen-on-the-toilet scene from season 2. *cringes* Japanese title: L no sekai (L world).
