A while back, when I said I couldn't remember Evangelion having any crossdressing in it, I'd forgotten about Shinji wearing Asuka's plugsuit. *crosses that off the list* So, yeah.

For the first time in a month, my computer is informing me that my wireless connection's strength is "good", rather than "low" or "very low". So why is it that it's being even slower? Even trying to get into livejournal is timing out on me, and forget about image-heavy sites. *grumble* I just want to read my friends' page, damn it!

I figure I should stop this whole not-writing business, or I'll end up with a list longer than my arm of reviews to write, and B1 is arriving next Saturday, so I know I won't get anything done with him around. On the other hand, I went and saw my first Prince of Tennis musical yesterday, so I should write about that, no?

But my internet is still being stupid. Grar! D:
*gnashes her teeth at the impotence of her internet connection*

I'M JUST TRYING TO LOOK AT ICANHASCHEEZBURGER.COM, DAMN YOU, IT'S NOT ROCKET SCIENCE!

*goes off to buy groceries*
When I was telling my mother about tenimyu, I sent her the link to the cast page. Her comment was, "Ah, oui! Les beaux petits minets :)"

Oui, Maman, they are indeed pretty little kittens. XD

I was seated right behind the small stage, next to the back cast entrance. That means I was practically front row for Niou and Yagyuu's pimp coat dance, which was so much fun, what with Yagyuu losing his hat and their Mardi Gras beads flying all over the place. And during the Golden Pair song (which I really wasn't expecting, so that when the music came on, I was thinking, "What? I know this music! What is it?!"), they were there too, and I didn't know whether I should be looking at them or at my beloved Golden Pair on the main stage. It ended up being mostly D1, because they were that damn close. That, and they kept fondling each other, and what was up with the face and chest stroking at the end of the song?! :D

I also got to see Higa up close, as well as Saitou Takumi (one of the girls in my row let out an ear-splitting "SAITOU-SAMAAAAAA!!!" when he came out of the entrance to our right), though he unfortunately never turned my way, instead letting my admire his calves and the back of his wig at length. I couldn't believe how stiff he was, though! Someone, teach him how to dance, PLEASE!

Also of note were Flying!Tezuka -- oh, how I wish they'd had some sort of choir of angels-type music going! XDDD -- and Flying!Pirate!Kai (but what was up with his golden breastplate?), Yukimura and Sanada being totally in love with each other (so much so that Ueshima even made a crack about it!), and Akutsu being Akutsu. I was happy that they sang the Regulars' song, and others that I knew (i.e. not the new ones), though they didn't do V.I.C.T.O.R.Y., which is still one of my favourites.

I like the new Seigaku cast, except Kaidou should have a MUCH deeper voice, and I still don't think that any Inui will ever come close to the first. To be fair, though, he hardly had anything to do in this one, so he may prove himself yet; also, I haven't watched Higa, so I'll wait before I pronounce my final judgement. This Tezuka looks much more Tezuka-like than the last one, and Fuji being freakishly tall didn't bother me. But damn, if they're going to give him ballet moves, they could have found much better ones than a little relevé passé and pirouette (not even a complete one!) in attitude. Bring on the cabrioles*, I say! Unless that's all he can do, in which case -- why bother?

Watching the other fans was also quite interesting. I was seat #4 in a 6-seat row, and my neighbours were: the aforementioned "SAITOU-SAMAAAA!!!" shrieker and her friend, a guy (on his own!), [me], and two Rikkai fans. I know this because they were mostly silent, sharing a pair of binoculars between them (and they had neither glowsticks nor light pens nor kira kira mitts), except when any of the Rikkai boys would do something and then they'd be all, "WAAA~~~~! Kakkoiiiiiiii~~~!!!" and hyperventilating. :D

* As much as I've always loved doing cabrioles myself, because they produce a sensation of floating almost as satisfying as that of a well-done grande jetée, I love watching men doing them even more. The height they can get on them is astounding.
