Anatomically correct baked goods

Every month at school, we have a different theme, and do activities, make crafts and sing songs related to that theme. September's is fairy tales, and this week's story is "The Gingerbread Man". Today the kids had to draw the characters, so I gave them pencils and crayons and let them go wild. Looking over Mua's drawing, I did a double-take, and was about to ask her why she'd given the gingerbread man a third leg, when I realised what it was.

"What's that?" I asked her, pointing at the drawing. She just grinned up at me. "Is it because he's a boy?" She nodded, still wearing that mischievous smile, and I just wanted to fall off my chair laughing, because "Mua drew a gingerbread penis!" XDDD

Oh those kids, they slay me dead, sometimes.
