It felt a bit weird having a Tuesday off. I can't decide whether I feel like I've had one long, interrupted weekend, or two short weekends.

At any rate, I was much more social over the past few days than is my wont. After Friday's yukata cruise, I spent a fun Saturday down in the mighty metropolis of Yokosuka, helping Becca move. We ended up not having to do any actual moving, though I did help Moving Guy-san with the bed, and we didn't see any creepy crawlies (and I hope it stays that way, Becca!). The highlight of the day was without a doubt seeing the poor, neglected Fudoumine tennis courts. XDDDD

Sunday I stayed in, did housework and watched the DragonLance movie (review currently being written, hopefully uploaded tonight), and yesterday I worked. I also gave an evening French lesson, and dropped off two of my yukatas for cleaning on the way, because I'd gotten some free coupons when I bought my two I-really-shouldn't-but-they're-so-pretty-and-they're-on-sale! yukatas. The ladies in the store remembered me, and when they saw that the two yukatas I'd brought in were not the ones I'd purchased from them, one of them remarked, "Yukata ga ippai desu ne!" Er... yes? ^_^

Today was spent at Inokashira Park with AK, GK (American K and German K, respectively), and a bunch of women AK knows, all of whom had brought their young children along. The kids ran around while we sat and chatted, and it was strange to see non-Japanese children! I think they were all half-Japanese, but in a couple of cases (one baby in particular), I never would have guessed that they were of anything but pure European ancestry.

After the picnic, AK came over to do some sewing. She even brought her new sewing machine along, and I was awed by the automatic threader. I'd never seen one in action before! >_> *feels the stirrings of sewing machine envy* We didn't accomplish much, but I did teach her how to read a pattern, and she got the pieces cut out, so next time we can start putting things together.

Tomorrow I start my new job, or at any rate I have to go sit in on the classes and meet the students. This means that I may possibly wear a bra (I've worn a proper bra a grand total of... two times since the end of spring), or at least try to dress more professionally than I usually do.
So, at least a few of you are familiar with the DragonLance books, right? ... Right?!

Before you click on the cut to read my Review In Pictures, there are a few things you should know: )

Now that that's been established, onto the (breast) meat of this post.

Show me the boobs! (part I) )
