10 days and 3 1/2 costumes to go!
Oct. 19th, 2008 09:21 pmIt always happens. Every. Single. Time. There I am, sewing along happily, pleased with my progress, when my attention fails for the second or two it takes for a fold of the fabric that SHOULD NOT BE THERE to sneak under the presser foot. The serger's presser foot. So I have to take the nearly-completed skirt apart.
And I have too much pride in my work to not cut out a new skirt piece, even though the damage would be right at the hem and pretty much invisible to all but me.
Bloody hell.
>_<;;;;;;
Here's hoping that there will be no more screw-ups. I never learn, do I... *sigh*
On the bright side, Pocahontas is done!
