Oct. 25th, 2008 09:47 amI know I've already amazed all of you with all the exciting things I'm going to do with my pay when it comes in, but I forgot the most important one:
PAY MY BILLS!
Back in Canada, I would always write cheques to pay my bills, instead of setting up an automatic bank transfer, just because it made me feel so adult. :} In Japan, it's somehow even more satsfying to go to the combini and hand the cash over, even though I could easily think of plenty of other ways to spend that money! Anyway, I've got five bills due (national health insurance, gas, electricity, internet and phone) for a grand total of... Y17022. Bloh.
All right, now I've got to dive headlong into my whole weekend of sewing. My goal for tonight: to have completed Belle, Jasmine, Snow White's skirt, as well as figured out how I'm going to make Aurora's top. Because I keep forgetting it has sleeves.
